so the fun thing about poidh bounties is that every claim is an NFT and when the bounty creator accepts a claim their wallet receives the NFT minted by whoever wins the bounty so, for the last week, my wallet has been holding an NFT representing the provenance of @davebachinsky's @GWR kickflip run minted by Dave's wallet, image stored on IPFS, link to the Guinness page embedded in the onchain data quite possible one of the first world records to be legitimately 100% verified onchain while I like owning this NFT, considering the significance of this moment and how appreciative I am of Dave confirming this record on @poidhxyz, I wanted to do something with it that gives back to the skateboarding community so we're going to auction this 1/1 world record NFT for charity I've chatted with Dave, and he's selected Urban Skate Project, a volunteer group founded in 2013 that builds DIY skate spots in urban environments here's how this auction will work: - the starting bid is $100 from @artlu99 - if you want to bid higher, respond here or DM me - you do not need to put any money down to bid; we will be working on the honor system - should you win the auction, you will be asked to complete the donation to USP, then provide proof of donation to me and Dave - after confirming with USP, the NFT will be sent to your preferred destination address - should an auction winner be selected who does not come through on their donation, the next highest bid will receive a chance to donate and receive the NFT thank you again to everyone who has made this world record journey possible, including @degentokenbase, @jacek0x, @farcaster_xyz, and The Haberdashery! if you have time, please consider spreading the word about this auction we're looking forward to highlighting once again how meaningful this accomplishment was, while also raising money for an awesome skateboarding charity!
