It seems like I understand a bit more about the mechanism of @pendle_fi today...
On the left side, there are quite a few Underlying assets that I bought with sKaito PT. I originally thought these PTs would only turn into Yield assets on the right side after the expiration...
But I discovered over the past few days that the quantity of YT-Yield assets on the right side has been quietly increasing, even though I haven't bought any YT...
In other words, the benefit of PT is that while holding real sKaito, even if it hasn't reached the delivery period, the Yield asset attributes that are lent out from these PTs will gradually be reclaimed!
Therefore, PT and YT are not like I previously illustrated with the rental example, where they are settled only at expiration, but rather, once this YT is bought by someone else, it continues to settle online...
Following this logic, if I don't purchase any more Kaito staking before January 29 next year and just leave it as is, then over time, the quantity of Yield assets on my right will gradually increase. The closer the next airdrop season is to January 29, the more cost-effective my purchase of this PT will be!
